COLD OPEN What's the Word on the Street?: Athlete
4423a
SCENE Alan welcomes the viewer and finds Baby Bear drawing on the stoop in a baseball uniform. Baby Bear states Papa Bear has signed him up for the Pee-Wee Wee Tee Ball league and they're practicing soon. He admits he's not much of an athlete, but his papa really wants him to play. Alan assures him it'll be fun, when Papa Bear calls him over to play.

4423c
SCENE cont'd Papa Bear is sure Baby Bear will love Wee Tee Ball, just like when he and his Grampy Bear would play. Papa Bear sings about how "Nothing Could Be Better" than playing Wee Tee Ball with his son. First, they're going to practice hitting. Baby Bear revs up, but is quickly distracted by a passing butterfly, admiring its wing design. Papa Bear steers him back to the tee, telling him to keep his eye on the ball. Baby Bear does so and becomes fascinated with its round shape and wishes to draw it. Papa Bear tells him he can draw after they practice.
4423d
SCENE cont'd Baby Bear goes up for a swing, but misses and ends up on the ground. He recovers and finds himself focusing on a birds nest he found while down there. Abby appears, having found his bat. She reveals she plays for the Powder Poof league and magically hits the ball away. She learns most people (and bears) use the bat to hit the ball and she finds it more fun! She rushes home to her mommy.
4423e
SCENE cont'd Baby and Papa Bear return to the game, when Cookie Monster appears. He reveals he also played Tee Ball, where his mommy was the coach. He takes a swing and delivers Papa Bear a great hit. He asks for a cookie, explaining that's what would happen when he'd play with his mommy. Papa Bear doesn't have any cookies, so he eats the ball and bat instead and leaves for a game of "Cookie Tennis."
4423f
SCENE cont'd Even though Cookie devoured the ball, Papa Bear still has a whole bucket full. Without the bat as well, he's prepared to practice catching instead. He throws him a ball, but Baby Bear fails to catch it, instead admiring the stitching of his mitt and would like to draw it. They try again and Baby Bear successfully catches the ball and thinks they're done. He then claims his arm is too tired to throw the ball back. Papa Bear decides they should practice running now and runs down the block, hoping he'll follow.

SCENE cont'd Baby Bear makes his way back to his art supplies and continues to draw. Chris meets up with him, claiming Papa Bear nearly ran him over running so fast. Chris recalls when his dad signed him up for Wee Tee Ball; Baby Bear assumes he loved it like everyone else, but Chris is quick to point out the opposite. He didn't care for it; he'd rather cook. He tells Baby Bear to just tell Papa Bear how he feels. Papa Bear comes back and Baby Bear admits he doesn't like Wee Tee Ball. Papa Bear understands, as he just wants an activity he and his son can do together. Baby Bear suggests they draw together and teaches Papa Bear a thing of two about art. They sing about how "Nothing Could Be Better" than this moment.

Gonnigan likes having a less-disgusting friend around now, but Opposite-Blรถgg ruins their playtime by putting away their blocks and refusing to wear the wrinkled costumes. Abby and Gonnigan learn that to change him back, Blรถgg has to do the spell on himself. Abby tempts him with his favorite stinky cheese, but he instead is frightened by it.
